It’s finally here! The 48th annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration!
The fun kicks off in Maple Lake on Saturday, March 15 with a craft sale at Maple Lake Elementary School from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Irish Scamper, a 5K run/walk hosted by the high school track and field team kicks off at 11 a.m. in downtown Maple Lake and at 1:30 p.m. is the Grande Day Parade featuring 80 fun units from local groups, programs and agencies, many of which will be handing out candy. At 5:30 p.m., Maple Lake Royalty will pass on their crowns to the next generation during a coronation ceremony at the high school auditorium.
This Chamber of Commerce sponsored festival is fun for the entire family.
Put on your most festive, green attire and bring something to collect all that candy in. This year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade starts at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 15th.
