The Maple Lake City Council wants to attract new businesses, encourage entrepreneurship, support existing businesses and grow the city, and they are looking at hiring an EDA consultant to help them do it.
After their Tuesday, March 4th regular council meeting, there are two consultants they are considering – Jim Gromberg and Kirstin Chatfield – and they expect to make a decision at their next council meeting.
Chatfield joined Tuesday’s meeting remotely to tell councilors a little bit about herself and how she can help the city achieve its economic goals.
Gromberg spoke to the council in December.
