With less than two weeks before the much-anticipated St. Patrick’s Day Festival here in Maple Lake, it’s time to announce this year’s Grand Marshal.
The Grand Marshal is presented each year to one or more Maple Lake residents for their record of outstanding service to this community. This is a Chamber of Commerce award and is given out every year at the Chamber Social. The honoree is then invited to ride in a place of honor in the upcoming parade.
This year’s Grand Marshal award goes to the retired firefighters of the Maple Lake Fire Department.
