The Maple Lake boys’ basketball team’s playoff win over North Lakes Academy early last week put them face-to-face with the No. 1 team in the section – Upsala.
The 20-6 Upsala hosted the Irish on Thursday, March 6th, just three days after the Irish defeated North Lakes in their first on-the-road section win in “quite some time,” according to coaches.
Maple Lake Head Coach Bryan Schleif said they went into the game knowing they had earned the right to play the top team in the section.
