The Wright County Wave Swim Club qualified one athlete, Estelle Bergs, to the National Club Swimming Association Age-Group Championship this year on March 26-29 in Orlando, FL.
Bergs returned with many accolades including: She was seeded 16th and placed 8th in the 100 Breast and achieved a new personal best time; she was seeded 74th and placed 42nd in the 200 Freestyle and achieved a new personal best time; she was seeded 10th and placed 6th in the 50 Breast; she was seeded 28th and placed 10th in prelims in 200 Breast and achieved a new personal best time; she was seeded 85th and placed 46th in the 100 IM; she was seeded 44th and placed 17th in the 50 Free and achieved a new personal best time; she scored 24 points for the team.
The Wave Swim Club is made up of swimmers aged six and up who live in or near Wright County. The club practices at the Buffalo Community Middle School pool.
