If finding a new career is on your list of things to do this spring, look no further. Plans are in the works for the second annual Maple Lake Job Fair/Block Party on May 18th starting at 3 p.m. at The V By HH.
So far, eight local businesses have registered to have booths at the fair, but this is more than just a stuffy job fair. The event will also include a youth music performance, a bean bag tournament for participating businesses and music by Maple Lake native, James Warren. Plus, there will be a special high school student only session from 2:15 to 2:45 p.m.
By engaging at each booth, attendees will be eligible for cash drawings of $500, $250, and $100. Free food and drink will be awarded to the first 100 people.
Organizers are also working on scheduling a demonstration by the Maple Lake High School Robotics Program.
Airlift doors will return to the second annual Maple Lake Job Fair/Block Party on May 18 along with seven plus other businesses from Maple Lake.
