CRUSHING AND STOCKPILING CLASS 1 GRAVEL

Notice is hereby given by the Silver Creek Township Board to accept written quotes for the crushing and stockpiling of a minimum of 10,000 cubic yards of modified Class 1 material from our designated pit located within Silver Creek Township. All materials must be weighed by a State certified scale. Material is to meet the Township’s spec for Class 1, a minimum of ¾ minus with 10-14% passing the #200 sieve for binder. Successful quote at price per yard will include dozer and or excavator and loader for mixing to make spec material. Quote price to include some stripping of overburden clay. A Certificate of Insurance stating a minimum coverage of 1.5 million dollars is to be submitted along with quote. Contractor must provide all equipment necessary for crushing, stockpiling and clean up. Gradation testing is incidental and to be done twice a day by the contractor at the time of crushing. Gradation samples to be provided to the Town for testing by the Towns lab. A gradation report must be submitted to the township daily and included with final billing. Crushing must be completed on or before November 21, 2022.
A separate quote for hourly equipment rates for stripping and reclamation can be included if the contractor is willing.

The Town Board of Silver Creek reserves the right to reject any or all quotes in the best interest of the Township.
