Improving scores mark gymnastics competition

Although the Maple Lake Irish fell to Dassel-Cokato in their second home meet of the season, it was a very close match.

On Tuesday, December 13, the girls lost by two-tenths of a point but improved their overall team score by 5.880 points. They tried new skills in each exercise, gaining more confidence as they continue to compete.

“Even though we lost last night by .20, the gymnasts’ spirits are climbing as we cotinue to improve our talent and scores every meet,” said head coach David Parkin.
