They say it’s not the number of years in your life that matters, but rather the life in those years. Although Kevin Mason was taken from this world at only 59 years old, friends and family know he did more with those 59 years than many others have done with more. A man of many talents, Mason was a mechanic, carpenter, painter, plumber, architect, photographer, missionary and most importantly a teacher of the Gospel. Mason died, Friday, March 22 at the Mayo Methodist Hospital in Rochester after a long battle with myelodysplasia. He leaves behind three children, a wife, many friends, family and legacies both home and abroad as a man who “had a heart for the Lord.”
