Wright County COVID-19 cases spike

For the first time since Jan. 7 (a span of nine weeks), Wright County had more than 200 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, according to the Wright County Public Health weekly COVID-19 dashboard released on March 18. A total of 212 new cases were reported, nine cases required hospitalization (the highest total in five weeks since 10 hospitalizations were reported the week of Feb. 4), two required stays in an Intensive Care Unit and one more death was reported. Wright County’s currently has seen 12,947 confirmed cases, 507 cases that required hospitalization, 90 that required admission to an ICU and 120 deaths. To see the entire dashboard, visit:
