SANDRA L. WURM (DAVIDSON), Maple Lake

August 25, 1948 – September 11, 2021

Sandra (Sandy) L. Wurm, age 73, of Maple Lake passed away peacefully at her home on September 11, 2021 surrounded by her family.  Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 9/22 at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in Maple Lake MN to celebrate her life.  Visitation will begin at 10:00am at the church.  Lunch to follow at the American Legion in Maple Lake.

She was born in Annandale, MN on August 25, 1948, the daughter of Charles and Margaret Davidson.  She married the love of her life, Keith Wurm, in 1967 and they enjoyed 54 years of marriage.

Sandy was a longtime member of St. Timothy’s Catholic Church.  She enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends, and an occasional trip to the casino.

She is survived by her husband Keith Wurm of Maple Lake; sons Brian Wurm of Monticello and Brad (Kelly) Wurm of Clearwater, MN; and grandchildren, Nicole, Gavin, and Nolan Wurm.  Also, six siblings Doris Shierts of Fairfax, Roger (Sandy) Davidson of Buffalo, Richard Davidson of Mounds View, Robert Davidson of Florida.  Barbara (Bob) Rigenhagen of Maple Lake, and Donna (Lyle) Miller of The Dalles Oregon; Brother in-law and sister in-laws Bob and Carol Wurm, Dorothy and Jim McQue, Charles Shoen, and many nieces and nephews.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Keith’s parents, sister in-laws Rita, Joyce, Jackie, and Sharon; Brother in-laws Morris, Dick, and William Neison.

A special thanks to all the caregivers at Virginia Piper Cancer Center in Buffalo.  Also, to her brothers, sisters, and friends at the Maple Manor who came together to help out.
