My rain gauge measured nearly an inch of rain Friday morning. Not quite as much as was predicted for the three day period. My gauge developed a slight leak in it so the inch of rain is a close estimate. We could have used more, but we’ll just have to roll with the punch.
I saw two of the most beautiful walleyes a week ago Wednesday night, caught by a husband and wife team. They were exceptionally proud of their catch and began telling me about it. That’s when I woke up!
That was the first of two nightmares to mar that night’s sleep. The second one didn’t make much sense to me and doesn’t bear repeating! Stress and trama are two reasons for nightmares, but that doesn’t seem to fit in my case.
Something to think about for Nov. 7th. Set your clocks back an hour before you go to bed Nov. 6 enjoy the extra hour of sleep as we go off daylight savings time!
