Twenty years after the disappearance of Joshua Guimond from the Saint John’s University campus, family and friends are still looking for answers.
November 9th marks the 20th anniversary of the 20-year-old Maple Lake man’s disappearance. Josh, a student at the school, was last seen leaving a party at a friend’s dorm on campus around 11:45 p.m. on Nov. 9, 2002, but he never made the three-minute walk home. On Wednesday, Nov. 10, family and close friends will hold a prayer service for Josh at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Maple Lake at 5:30 p.m.
The anniversary of Josh’s disappearance comes with the release of an Unsolved Mysteries episode regarding the case on Netflix and some new information from the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office. Earlier this month, the sheriff’s office released images found on Josh’s computer of 28 unidentified individuals authorities think may be able to provide information related to his disappearance. The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who recognizes any of the individuals or knows anything about the disappearance of Josh to contact Investigator Struffert at 320-259-3700 or submit a tip through the Stearns County Sheriff’s Department website.
