Dairy Princesses, Ambassadors crowned

By Brenda Erdahl

Two local young ladies are among a host of newly crowned Wright County Dairy Princesses and Ambassadors.

Kieya Sargent of Maple Lake and Natalie Neumann of Buffalo were crowned princesses on Saturday, April 1 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Buffalo.

Sargent and Neumann are two of four princesses chosen to represent Wright County’s dairy community in 2023. Also crowned princesses were Jalyssa Beaudry of Otsego and Katherine Hills of Monticello.

The organization also crowned five ambassadors. They are: Leah Beaudry of Otsego; Sophie Salmela of Howard Lake; Haley Sims of Delano; Katy Berning of Otsego, and Lauren Berning of Otsego.  The Dairy Princess and Ambassador Program in Wright County is a female leadership program for young dairy advocates. Dairy princesses and ambassadors spent time in their local communities promoting dairy. Throughout the year, they will be seen around the county serving ice cream and reading stories at libraries, in community parades, at the Wright County fair, and more.

If you have an event you would like the dairy princesses to attend, contact their Facebook page or at dairyprincesswright@gmail.com. To stay up to date with this year’s dairy royalty find them on Facebook and Instagram at Wright County Dairy Princesses.
