The popular Maple Lake Health Club Nutrition is Our Mission has found a new home just off Highway 55 in the Maple Lake Strip Mall.
Owner Debbie Wurm moved her eight-year-old business from Oak Avenue in January into the old Schlenner and Wenner storefront near Subway, Maple Lake Fitness and Lake Central Insurance. Not only is her new space more conveniently located, she and her customers are enjoying 750 square feet of additional space, a larger parking lot and an overall inviting atmosphere.
“People say they love it in here,” Wurm said. “They call it homey and inviting.” Wurm herself loves the large windows at the storefront that let in plenty of light no matter the season. Plus, there are additional rooms in the back that can be used for future exercise classes, or fun events like T-bombs and bingo or T-bombs and crafts.
“Who knows what we’ll dream up. We’re always doing something fun,” she said.
Her customer base has already grown since the move thanks to the increased visibility of being so close to the highway, she said. Maple Lake Fitness users also enjoy its close proximity, often stopping by for a pre-workout or post-workout beverage or a T-Bomb or shake for lunch, Wurm said.
Nutrition is Our Mission is an independent Herbalife distributor with a focus on good nutrition and physical activity. Wurm’s shakes contain 21 vitamins and minerals and 24 grams of protein and her T-bombs are packed with 80 milligrams of natural caffeine for a sometimes-needed pick-me-up, plus nutrients for brain health.
