The Irish Anglers celebrated a successful season at its year-end banquet last week where prizes were given away for top scorers and participants, plus several anglers were honored for their trophy sized catches. The top three point-winners from the Sunday night team were Landon Holland (170), Adam Smail (130) and Jeremiah Schafer (120). The top three-point winners from the Wednesday night team were Hayden Pagel (240), Henry Pagel (200) and Hans Peterson (160).
Reeling in trophy fish were Adam Smail with his 18 inch bass caught on Indian Lake, Ethan Helmbrecht with his 28 inch northern caught on Eagle Lake, Carter Colbenson with his 28.25 inch northern caught on Indian, Hayden Pagel with his 18 inch bass caught on Mink and Somers, Michael Bellinger with his 18 inch bass caught on Ramsey, Henry Pagel with his 18.25 inch bass caught on Ramsey, Dalten Kuperus with his 18.5 inch bass caught on Ramsey and Dalten Kuperus again with his 18 inch bass caught on Maple Lake, Hans Peterson with his 20 inch bass caught on Indian Lake and Marcus Padilla with his 31 inch northern. To be considered trophy size, bass must be at least 18 inches and northern at least 28 inches.
Hayden Pagel was the grand prize winner which was a lifetime fishing license. Ethan Padilla and Brolin Chlan won two of three fish houses donated by Rhino.
