The Maple Lake High School Trap Team topped seven other teams in the fall Minnesota State High School Trap League to finish first in the conference.
The Irish had 10 students competing in the fall league this year, six of them finished among the top 10 in the conference.
Dalton Kerkow led the Irish with a second-place conference finish with a season average of 23.6. Joe Neutz also medalled with a third-place finish with a season average of 22.70.
Kalli Hennen finished in second place for the girls to win a conference medal; Dylan Hennen and Joey Novotny tied for fifth place and Jakob Hickman finished in eighth place.
This year’s fall team consisted of Luke Carlson, Dalton Kerkow, Cooper Couette, Riley Jude, Dylan Hennen, Kalli Hennen, Dalten Kuperus, Joe Neutz, Jakob Hickman and Joe Novotny. They were coached by Head Coach Brad Neutz and assistant coaches Tony Hennen and Daniel Neutz.
