Thank you to an Anonymous Donor donated $1,000 to the Backpack Buddy Program. This money will be used to purchase gift cards that will be added to the Christmas Baskets.

Thank you to the Lions Club donated $4,000 to the Thanksgiving and Christmas Basket Program.

11.E. Minnesota State High School League – Kaitlyn Helmbrecht

• Discussed potential steps to bring all 9th graders under the governance of MSHSL.

• The board of directors approved an adjustment to the maximum daily limits for wrestling, which moves from 5 matches per day to 6 and has been taken into effect this current wrestling season.

• The football advisory committee is seeking a seeding process that covers nine players through class AAAAA into geographic halves of MN for the state quarterfinals.

• The girls Volleyball advisory committee is seeking to seed Nos. 1-8 for all classes beginning in the 24-25 school year.

• Gymnastics proposal seeks to provide an opportunity for school gymnastics coaches to coach their students during the school year, but outside the establishes season.

• These proposals will be presented to the 16 regions for review and votes to determine if the proposal will advance to the assembly. A minimum of 9 regions must vote in favor of each proposal to advance, which will take place on May 7, 2024.
