Daylight Saving Time ends Get ready to set your clocks back one hour November 3

Contributed report

Daylight Saving Time comes to a close this weekend, which means we’ll be setting our clocks back one hour and gaining a little extra sleep.

Daylight Saving ends officially on the first Sunday of November every year. This year it ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3.

It will resume again the second Sunday in March when we’ll turn our clocks forward. People often say we spring forward and fall back to remember which is which.

Sunrise and sunset will be about one hour earlier on Nov 3, than the day before. There will be more light in the morning and less light in the evening.
