Donna M. Anderson, age 92, of Annandale died on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Centennial Villa in Annandale.
Committal Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2024, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery, Buffalo followed by a Celebration of Life Reception from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Maple Lake American Legion.
Donna Mary Borell was born on June 8, 1932, in Chatham Township to John and Evelyn (Fobbe) Borell. Donna grew up on the family farm alongside her five siblings. She graduated high school in Maple Lake. She made her home in Blaine, prior to moving to Annandale in 1968. On April 19, 1976, Donna married Alton Anderson in Watertown, South Dakota.
As a homemaker, Donna poured her heart and soul into creating a warm and loving home for her family. Over the years, Donna also worked as a waitress and drove bus for M&M. She had a passion for woodworking, using her creativity to craft beautiful pieces. She also found joy in tending to her gardens, yard work, and playing games on her iPad.
Donna is survived by her children, Dan Skoby of Clara City, Diane Turman (Dan Sheridan) of Clara City, and Lisa Johnson of Annandale; grandchildren, Lori, Billy, Karri, Cassy, Daniel, Brandon, and Justin; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Krissy, Brody, Henry, Amelia, Brooklynn, Emma, Daniel, Izek, Jonathan, Alex, Carter, Joey, Jessa, and Chance; great-great-grandchildren, Tucker and Maverick; siblings, Jim Borell of Maple Lake and Linda (Dave) Stumpf of Annandale; sister-in-law, Carole Borell of Maple Lake; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Evelyn Borell; husband, Alton; daughter, Cindy (Steve) Jung; siblings, Mel Borell, Jackie (Glenna) Borell, Doris (Marvin) Pribyl; and sister-in-law, Catherine Borell.
Donna’s grandchildren will serve as urn bearers. Arrangements entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Maple Lake.
