The Wright County Board of Commissioners is seeking candidates to apply for appointment to represent Wright County as an at-large member of Great River Regional Library (GRRL) Board of Trustees. The term will begin in January 2025.

The Board of Trustees provides direction and vision for the GRRL’s mission. The board adopts policies and bylaws, works to ensure adequate financial resources for the organization, protects assets, provides financial oversight, participates in strategic planning, ensures legal compliance and ethical integrity and enhances GRRL’s public standing.

The Trustees attend board and committee meetings, keep up to date on significant developments in the library field and assists GRRL in carrying out its fiduciary responsibilities.

Candidates should have the ability to attend all board and committee meetings, be able to read and understand financial statements, and share the vision and mission of GRRL in their communities.
