The Buffalo-Maple Lake boys swim and dive team traveled to Brainerd, Saturday Jan. 11 to compete in the section 8AA true team meet. The boys came home as section champs after a strong performance in the pool. Buffalo was tops with a score of 1,068, Brainerd was second with 1,048; Elk River finished third with 938.5, Sartell was fourth with 925, St. Michael-Albertville was fifth with 829, Tech-Cathedral-Rocori- Becker was sixth with 673 and Sauk Rapids-Rice was seventh with 450.5. Maple Lake has two swimmers on the team this year, Elias Stevens and Hayden Dircks.
