The 48th annual Maple Lake St. Patrick’s Day Celebration brought with it cold temperatures, blustery winds and even a bit of snow Saturday, March 15, but while the crowds weren’t as large as last year because of it, those who did attend certainly appeared to be having fun.
“The weather was very tough this year with winds blowing super hard and a mix of snow and rain in the morning,” parade organizer Nick Pawlenty said. But “people know how to dress for the occasion and are always out there.”
