Will it be the Mashed Potato or the Macarena? They won’t tell. Local couple Lisa and Jim “Winnie” Weninger of Maple Lake are sworn to secrecy until show time.
That’s right, the Weningers are participating in a dance off, and not any old dance off, one that raises money for mental health awareness and suicide prevention.
The couple has already met and surpassed the original $10,000 goal and are homing in on $50,000 thanks to the generosity of donors, many of whom are from the Maple Lake and Howard Lake communities.
