Jim “Winnie” and Lisa Weninger of Maple Lake took home the 2nd Runner-Up trophy on Saturday, April 12, at 2B CONTINUED’s 5th annual Dancing Like the Stars Show.
Held at the Glencoe City Center, the sold-out event celebrated dance, connection, and most importantly, a shared mission: raising awareness for suicide prevention and mental health.
According to the press release, more than 600 attendees packed the venue with hundreds more tuning in virtually. Fourteen official “Watch Parties” were hosted at local bars, restaurants, and churches across Brown, Carver, McLeod, Meeker, Nicollet, Renville, Sibley, and Wright counties including one at the Howard Lake American Legion for the Weningers.
