Northenscold injured in March 31 car crash

Maple Lake resident Alicia Northenscold, 27, was seriously injured in a car accident on the morning of March 31.

At about 6:30 a.m. on March 31, at Highway 25 and Wright County Road 131, Northenscold was involved in a crash that occurred during heavy and wet snowfall. The Minnesota State Highway department has not completed its report on the crash.

According to Carol Northenscold, Alicia’s grandmother, Alicia was traveling to work when an SUV, headed southbound on Highway 25, lost control and collided head-on with Alicia’s vehicle.

Alicia was transported to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale where she is recovering from multiple serious injuries. She sustained two broken femurs, a broken hip and a fractured vertebrae.
