Volunteers recognized at Library event

The Maple Lake Library held a volunteer appreciation event, Tuesday, April 10 for its 30-plus volunteers that keep the entirely volunteer-run library going. The event was meant to bring the volunteers together to celebrate the positive results of their efforts and to honor their commitment to the library. It was an opportunity to socialize and get to know fellow volunteers whom they might not have met yet because they haven’t worked together, Library Board Member Terry Mooney said.
