Twenty-eight years of deadlines hasn’t changed Steve Prinsen’s love of community journalism. His work at the Annandale Advocate has been a “labor of love,” and will continue well into the future even as the paper’s ownership changes hands. On Oct. 1, Michele and Ed Pawlenty, owners of the Maple Lake Messenger, officially purchased the Annandale Advocate from Steve and his wife Sharon Schumacher.
