It’s been said if it can’t get worse, smile, so I smiled and sure enough it got worse. Or something like that. Anyway, it did. Get worse.
Daughter and Soninlaw came up from Alabama to install kids in schools and lodging, with one of their progeny in tow. With the corona virus threat, they came warned and cautious. They also wanted to find a few things to do with an open afternoon. One other time, they took us to see the famous World’s Largest Ball of Twine. That’s hard to beat, since I don’t know where the record carp is kept, and the Blue Ox and Spam Museum are too far away.
We settled on the Sand Dunes by Zimmerman, to take a walk on their trails. Several hundred other bored Minnesotans also thought that would be a good idea. Off we went for a half hour drive, six of us in two cars.
