The year 2020 has been like no other, and as Maple Lake High School prepares for homecoming, once again we’re reminded of that. After being pushed back about a month, homecoming festivities are set to begin on Monday, Nov. 9 with the crowning of the king and queen, but even this tradition will not look the same. Instead of an evening coronation, the ceremony will take place Monday morning with a limited audience. The majority of the student body will watch the coronation on a TV in their classrooms while people at home are invited to tune in at https://boxcast.tv/view/2020-homecoming-coronation-593519.
This year’s candidates for homecoming king and queen are Noah Beffel, Jack Klug, Sam Riviere, Logan Carlson, Charlie Berndt, Mary Miller, Dani Geyen, Lexy Bakeberg, Megan Lind and Lyndsie Carlson.
