Monday mornings -21 below zero was our coldest of the winter when I headed for Cenex for a newspaper and a cup of coffee about 7:00 a.m.. There was very little wind and I noticed a few vehicles with the hoods up and jumper cables stretched to another car. I’d say that’s the agony of it all. My favorite meteorologist Paul Douglas predicted warmer weather with temps in the 30s by the weekend. Roland Hegel fished on Lake Constance for crappies last week and said he had better luck using a minnow on a bare hook. He kept two keepers.
