It’s been a little more than a week since the tragic shooting at Allina Crossroads Clinic in Buffalo that resulted in the death of wife and mother Lindsay Overbay. Since then, the other four victims have been identified and opportunities made available to support them on their road to recovery at www.buffalostrong.care.
Allina Health initiated a show of solidarity this week by encouraging Minnesotan’s to share a moment of silence on Tuesday, February 16 for all the lives irrevocably altered when Gregory Paul Ulrich shot five Allina health care workers at the Buffalo clinic early last week. Minnesotan’s have been encouraged to wear purple, display purple lights (the color of the Buffalo community) and post on social media using #BuffaloStrong, #AllinaStrong and #HealthCareStrong to show their support.
Drew Evans, Superintendent of the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said “an attack on one Minnesotan is an attack on all Minnesotans” at a press conference at the Wright County Justice Center late last week.
