Spencer William Lofrano, Delano

Spencer William Lofrano, age 81, of rural Delano passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021 peacefully at his residence.

He was born on May 2, 1939 in Minneapolis the son of Joseph F. and Elizabeth M. (Jaworski) Lofrano.

On February 17, 1962, Spencer W. Lofrano and Marlene J. Kargel were joined in Holy Matrimony.   God blessed their marriage with three children.

Spence was employed many years as an electrician and estimator.  In later years, he had his own business JKS Repair and Control.

He enjoyed being outdoors and many activities; hunting, fishing, bowling, music festivals, pepper and tomato garden, cooking, motorcycling (Gold Wing) and camping with his grandchildren. He was also always up for a good campfire or game of cribbage.

Survived by his loving wife of fifty-eight years: Marlene J. Lofrano; three children: Kurt (Carol) Lofrano of Delano, Cheryl (Kevin) Zaske of Maple Lake and Joe (Jenny) Lofrano of Red Wing; grandchildren: Dan, Katie and Lisa; David, Maria and Anna; Jessica, Arianna, Kendra and Bradi Jo; great-granddaughter: Blakely; other relatives and many friends. 

A Time of gathering will be held on Wednesday, February 10th from 4-7 P.M. with a story sharing at 6:00 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo.   Eric Zaske will be giving a blessing and leading the story sharing.  A Celebration of Life will be held in Spring.
