At their most recent meeting, Monday, April 12, members of the Maple Lake School Board were introduced to new Activities Director Dan Krause, who will officially assume his duties July 1.

Krause said he is honored and excited be a part of the Maple Lake School District. For the past eight years, he has served as the Dean of Students and Activities Director for the Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart School District. Prior to that, he spent two years as a physical education teacher with the Dassel-Cokato District and a year at Braham Area Schools. His coaching experience covers a wide spectrum, from kindergartners to college students, including Mankato State University’s girls basketball team.

Krause told Board members he looks forward to getting started as Maple Lake’s A.D.

The Board’s next meeting is Monday, May 10.
