The Maple Lake football team ended its season with a 35-0 loss to St. Agnes in game No 1 of the Section 4AA playoff tournament.
The Irish traveled to Concordia – St. Paul to take on the then 8-1 St. Agnes. St. Agnes’s only loss of the season at that time was to Spectrum in the team’s very first game. After defeating Maple Lake, St. Agnes fell to Norwood-Young America 36-0.
The Irish ended with an 0-9 record.
