Members of the Maple Lake High School trap team participated in a fall league recently and finished second in 1A – Conference 4. According to Coach Brad Neutz, that is the highest finish ever posted by a Maple Lake trap team.
The Irish ended the five-week fall season last week with a total score of 2,281.50 which put them second only to conference champion Frazee-Vergas High School with a total 2,540.
The Irish were runner-up out of eight teams. Finishing third in the conference was North Branch, Providence Academy was fourth, St. Louis Park was fifth, Park Christian was sixth, Maple Grove was seventh and Maple River was eighth.
