The Holiday Tour of Lights

By Brenda Erdahl:

There is nothing like driving through a festively lit neighborhood with Christmas music playing softly on the radio to put you in the holiday spirit, but winter weather and night-time-driving can be off-putting. That’s why Trailblazer transit in Buffalo is offering to drive for you.

From Nov. 25 through Dec. 30 between 5 and 8 p.m., the local public transportation service is offering one-hour rides through the city of your choice. For $5 per person (kids 12 and under are free with an adult) drivers will pick you up at home, take you up and down streets lit with brightly decorated houses, then bring you home again. It’s a service for people who would rather focus on the lights than driving.
