The Maple Lake football team went on the road, Friday, Sept. 8 for their second game of the season. Despite a 0-14 loss to the Bulldogs on their home field in Paynesville, coaches are optimistic about the future.

“Even though we came up short on Friday night, our boys played a very good football game. Our defense made significant strides last week, dominating most of the game. Offensively, we need to be more physical and consistent. Our team continues to improve in all areas,” Head Coach Mike Rowe said.
