Makers and Growers begin

Maple Lake with sixty-three vendors which is the biggest turnout yet. The next one takes place on Sunday, June 23. Like last year, the Makers and Growers Market will take place one Sunday out of every month, May through October in downtown Maple Lake.

Shoppers peruse an assortment of artwork and baked goods at Sunday’s Makers and Growers Market. Vendors displayed their wares under tents lined back-to-back down Birch Avenue from Pagel Law to Star Street starting at 10:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

The Butchery of Maple Lake attracted a long line of hungry shoppers. Several other food vendors participated in Sunday’s event including The Hungry Chicken, Tacopolis, Spooky Brew, Ice Cream Machine, Brick Oven Pizza and Nautical Bowls.

Everett Smithson Band entertained diners under the tent at Sunday’s first Makers and Growers Market of the season in downtown Maple Lake.
