There was something for everyone at this year’s Wright County Fair. The five-day event took place July 24-28 at the fairgrounds in Howard Lake and featured a midway with rides for all ages, an assortment of animals (some exotic), grandstand events including a demolition derby and tractor pull, live entertainment, and of course, fair food. Plenty of local youth participated in 4-H events where they had the opportunity to win ribbons for their prize cattle, goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits and more.
