A three-vehicle collision on Highway 55 and Oak Avenue North in Maple Lake last week resulted in hospital visits for two of the parties involved.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 2 p.m. According to the State Patrol report, a Chevy Malibu driven by Julie Ann Wennerberg of Clear Lake was traveling northbound on County Road 8, a Ford Fusion, driven by Samantha Ann Evenson of Buffalo was traveling eastbound on Highway 55 and a Chevy Silverado, driven by Trevor John Homola of Watertown was in the right turn lane on westbound Highway 55 to County Road 8 North. All three vehicles collided in the intersection.
Everson age 33 and Wennerberg age 60 were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. Homola, age 23, was not injured. Alcohol was not believed to be involved in the incident.
Outside agencies assisting the state patrol were the Wright County Sheriff’s Office, Allina Health, Maple Lake Fire and Ambulance and Junction Towing.
