After a couple of losses, the Maple Lake girls’ basketball team ended last week with a 50-44 win over Long Prairie-Grey Eagle; it was also the girls final home game of the season.
Swanville 59, Maple Lake 44
The Irish kicked off the week by hosting Swanville on Tuesday, Feb. 11. It was senior night and Maple Lake’s four seniors – Avery Lee, Avery Rowe, Molly Wurm and Tessa Pribyl – were honored with speeches and gifts from the underclassmen.
This was a big game for section seeding, Coach Adam Ronnenberg said.
