The Maple Lake girls’ basketball team went 0-3 in the last regular season week before sections.
The Irish head into playoffs as the No. 6 seed and will face the No. 3 seed Upsala in Upsala, Thursday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m.
Paynesville 47, Maple Lake 37
The Irish traveled to Paynesville on Monday, Feb. 17 for a rematch of an earlier season game that ended in a 70-44 loss for Maple Lake.
The Bulldogs didn’t waste any time taking an early 14-2 lead.
