Nostalgia has always been one of my fulfilling recreations. In the past few years, young friends graduated from college and scraped together all the coins from the couches they had been sleeping on. Added to this stepchild motherload was a series of low paying part-time and full-time employment. Finally, they were able to flee the parental nest and afford apartments. One of them found happiness in an efficiency about the size of my small living room/dining room. The other acquired a roommate to meet the monthly payment. I wonder how, years from now, they will spin the yarns of their early flight from the nest.
