t may be only April, but things will be warming up this weekend at the St. Timothy “Havana Nights” themed Spring Auction where organizers are inviting all to pull out their Hawaiian shirts and festive sundresses for an evening of fun raising money for St. Timothy School.
This annual event takes place at the V by HH on Saturday, May 3 with food, raffles, live and silent auctions, and great giveaways, including a grand prize of $15,000 or a 2025 Can-Am Commander 700 XT Side-by-Side, all in support of Catholic Education right here in Maple Lake.
The event kicks off with dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. when V by HH owner Harney Heeralall teams up with organizers and parents to entice your taste buds with a colorful menu of Cuban cuisine including the centerpiece of this year’s dinner, roasted pig. Henry Elsenpeter, a recent St. Timothy graduate, is donating the pig and Harney will roast it to perfection, event organizer Jen Rasset said. There will also be a Cuban Mojo chicken breast option.
