If you like learning about Maple Lake history, the library has a new display in the archival area with the topic of the police force and those who maintained the City of Maple Lake from 1891 to 1980. Along with this presentation, the library has a new display cabinet which contains some of the police hardware that was used during their tenure. The library archivist, Sue Sylvester, has also provided a more in depth twelve part history of this period which can be read at the library. Come visit the library and learn about those who protected and served Maple Lake. Library hours are Monday and Friday 12-6 p.m., Wednesday 3-6 p.m. and Saturday 10-1 p.m.
