Irish Anglers league finds fish on Lake John

Irish Anglers had luck on Lake John last week in their second outing of the season.

A total of 23 anglers fished over the course of two nights – Sunday, June 9 and Wednesday, June 12.

Garnering the most points to be Sunday’s first place finishers was the team of Henry Halloran, Brenden Luedtka and Talin Stuhaug. Halloran netted three bass – 17 ½ inches, 18 1/8 inches and 13 ½ inches and Luedtka reeled in three northern – 21 ¾ inches, 24 ¾ inches and 24 inches – for the win.

Coming in second was the team of Drew Wurm with his three bass – 12 ½ inches, 12 ¼ inches and 15 inches – and Kaeden Klatt with his two bass – 13 ¾ inches and 14 inches.

Finishing third was the team of Whitler Chlan and Jackson Krauze with Whitler’s 15 ½ inch bass.

Garnering the most points to be Wednesday’s first place finishers was the team of Tucker Sigler, Jeremiah Schafer and Brolin Chlan. Sigler netted a 15 inch bass; Schafer reeled in three bass – 12 ½ inches, 13 ½ inches and 14 ½ inches – and Chlan contributed a 17 inch bass and a 17 ¾ inch bass for the win.

Coming in second was the team of Ethan Erdahl, Ella Peterson and Dalten Kuperus. Erdahl netted a 12 ½ inch bass and a 31 ¾ inch Northern and Peterson caught a 14 ½ inch bass.
