When the weather turns cold, it’s time for Bob Grieger to go to work.
He starts collecting warm clothes, blankets, hats and gloves around Christmas time to give to people in need. He says his goal is to give every homeless person in Minnesota a blanket and a coat or at least keep trying until the weather warms up.
When he started this mission many years ago, he’d ask his friends and neighbors for things they were no longer using then he’d drive around and personally hand them out.
“It got to be I had so much I couldn’t find enough homeless people to give it to,” he said.
