For the first time since 2015, the Annandale-Maple Lake wrestling team advanced to the section finals. In a season filled with ups and downs, with several injuries which left them with a record that was much closer to .500 than in years past, they peaked at the right time to do something they hadn’t done in 10 seasons, only to fall short of a state tournament berth by losing to the three-time defending section champs.
