Notice of Annual
Meeting, Election of Town Officers, and Board of Canvass
Maple Lake Township
Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Maple Lake Township, County of Wright, and State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Town Officers and Annual meeting will be held at the Maple Lake Town Hall located at 6298 Bishop Ave NW Buffalo, MN 55313 on Tuesday, March 11th, 2025. Polls will open from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. The Annual Township Meeting will commence immediately after the closing of the polls. The Board of Canvass will follow the election and Annual Meeting. In case of inclement weather, the meeting and election will be postponed until Tuesday, March 18th, 2025. Officers to be elected: One Supervisor for a three-year term. Absentee voting can be done at the Wright County Government Center.

NOTICE OF MINK LAKE AND SOMERS LAKE OPEN WATER
The aeration systems on Mink Lake (86-0229) and Somers Lake (86-0230) located in Corinna Township, Wright County MN near the town of Maple Lake will create open water in several places. Fisherman, skiers, hikers and others are warned to stay clear of the marked areas! Weather conditions may cause the areas of thin ice and open water to fluctuate greatly. Vehicles including snowmobiles and ATVS should stay off the lake entirely when aeration is operational. The aerators, which may be in operation throughout the remainder of the winter, are designed to prevent fish kills.
EXTREME CAUTION should be used while using these lakes for the remained of the winter. A warning sign with “Notice the Aeration is in operation” will be posted at the Public Access and Thin ice signs will mark the areas where the aerators will create open water.
